T.C. Elliott

This week was harder than the past two. I spent two days writing a song and then trashing it.
I found one verse of lyric from several years ago and decided to just have fun with a song. Here it is. Now with music and additional lyric.

You said I left you all alone
To live a life of tears and sorrow
You said my love was always gone
And you had to beg steal or borrow

You said I didn't love you yesterday
I told you to wait until tomorrow
I'll give you my love in my own way
You won't have to beg steal or borrow

You said the good times would last forever
Now all the good times just fade away

You said I was never there
That my love for you was hollow
It was more than you could bare
To have to beg steal or borrow

You said I didn't love you yesterday
I told you to wait until tomorrow
I'll give you my love in my own way
You won't have to beg steal or borrow

If I told you that I loved you
Would you still walk away?

Beaut, its like a alt.country punk-country tune, nice one.  I really like that solo, very Neil Young.

Good song. I'm starting to catch a real theme to your first 3 songs. I'm interested to see what week 4 has to offer.

I haven't listened Pigfarmer's songs yet, but this sounds really great and the tune is also very good! I loved the guitar sound. It was strong enough. Thanks for adding lyrics!

edit: Pigfarmer has propably a very demanding goal. Keep up the good work!

Man, I wish I had the discipline or well of talent to crank out a song a week, especially of this quality.

Enjoyed it, Pigfarmer Jr. - thanks for posting!
