Thanks guys.  A friend of mine is teaching himself to play guitar through an instructional DVD, and guess which song is one of the first he learned? House of the Rising Sun!  I think it must be in every lesson book.  It might be fun to start a new thread with everyone's variations on this song. Think it would catch on? ???

Thanks! I love playing in D min. Been working on a cover of Joe Bonassama's "Sloe Gin". It's a great D min blues song.

Thanks Neil. I'm in a very hectic period of my life right now which is why I haven't posted anything in a long time. It will be a while before I can carve out time to do any recording but if you post any backing tracks I would like to know. I'm still practicing so I'm always looking for stuff to jam with.

Peace,
Rick
