I had the chords to that down once, many moons ago - I may give it a shot some time.

Back in the day, my band @#*&! (aka Cartoon Swear) did Octopus...it was our only cover...I played drums.

GASP!!  The best advice to check out Syd is start with Piper At The Gate of Dawn by Pink Floyd...Followed by the Madcap Laughs by Syd himself.
That's just a personal note by me...Everyone is touched differently by Syd but I like these works best.

Now that is a quote that both shocks me and blows my mind.  This site is great for discovery.  I had never listened to any Joy Division until Nigel (Ferryman) compared my singing voice to Ian Curtis on a couple of posts.  That was a great find, love them now.
