The second installment of my attempt at writing one song for every week of 2010. I spent a bit more time recording this one. It was all done on the BR-900.

I can feel the raindrops falling
Slicing through the hot, dry air
I can feel the raindrops falling down

I can feel the cool wind blowing
Cool relief from the desert heat
I can feel the cool wind blowing in

I stand and let the raindrops pelt me
Wash away the stains on my soul
Mother earth revives my spirit
Restores me with Desert Rain

I can feel the sand beneath me
As it scours the pain away
I can feel the sand against my skin

I can feel your eyes upon me
Staring through both space and time
I can feel your eyes upon me now

I stand and let the raindrops pelt me
Wash away the stains on my soul
Mother earth revives my spirit
Restores me with Desert Rain

I stand and let the raindrops pelt me
Wash away the stains on my soul
Mother earth revives my spirit
Restores me with Desert Rain
Restores me with Desert Rain

Lovely song, I particularly liked the little progression in the verses - goes well with the vocal melody. A nice, gentle song with some delicate guitar work.
