i dug out my stylophone hardly had it out the box or used it since i got it about a year ago.  so using the stylophone i reimagined new dawn fades by joy division. i dropped a couple of the verses to keep it short.  lots of peaking and distortion. all on the mbr  and one vocal done using guitar effect pan and delay to two tracks so lots of bounces and reverb too, its a noisy bugger but was done for a bit of fun so i'm happy with it and in my eyes thats what counts above all else.........................................
well except the wife n kids and stuff like that.

i have not been drinking so no excuses this time.

It's quite difficult to imagine ( or reimagine even ) that you did all this using just a stylophone and an Mbr , i'm totaly in awe of your talent Jim , God only knows what you would produce if you could play guitar and keys as well as some others on here , i can only say that you inspire people within our music community.
This is a great take on a good song , nobody could have a song more thier own than you

EXCELLENT , 5*****

This is excellent, Jim - amazing you were able to do all this with the stylophone! Sounds a bit more upbeat than Joy Division's version, but the Stylophone just sounds happy and chipper no matter what you play on it.

I also have a stylophone (an old wood-toned 70s one made by Dubreq), but I've yet to use it so completely, although I did use it in my Yulefest contribution 'Christmas Time (Is Here Again)', in the 'When Christmas Time Is Over' part at the end - blended it in with an oldie casiotone organ.

This rules, Jim. I love it.

That stylophone is cool ass!! You should roll with more of this. Maybe dust off the Strat and have at that too. You are great at arranging music.

Peace, my man!
