Just a great tune that I enjoyed very much, great guitar and vox just too good, about the genre sounds like just excellent country rock to me but great music can,t be put in a box. Being a trucker putting and hammer down and the 18 wheels reference I really get.

Wonderful song - I especially love the multitracked vocals and the sweet guitars - great mix too!  Wicked melody as well.  Genre - how about Sublime Lightfoot Hammock Swinging ? ;D

Great song Nelson!! Performance is great too. Your voice is wonderful and your playing ability is really good

Great song which is strengthened by the nice guitar work and really strong vocals. The little solo breaks are really nice. Simple can be very effective, it needs a good song and a great performance, both of which you delievered here. Genre? Not sure, I would put in acoustic folk or possibly country but I know that genre has some pretty strong conventions.

Rather than try to define genres, perhaps a better thing might be to say who your influences are. That way people can get an idea of where you are coming from without you having to be "forced" into a genre.

Cheers,

Nigel

Hey thanks Alice. I just checked out some of your songs on my space. You are the whole package. You sing, write and play very well. "I walk alone" and "Again" are really good songs.

Fine song and performance here Nelson. Good arrangement overall and the little melodic leads are sweet. Your vocal tone is excellent...can't buy or fake that. I'd like to hear your voice without the effects on it...sounds kinda like compression and maybe a bit of chorus? You play well, sing well, and wrote a good song here...that's a damn good package. As for genre, i'd definitely call it folk or americana. What do you record with?

Hey Thanks Pinedog . I don't think I used any effects, if memory serve me, I sang it on 2 separate tracks. For a fuller sound.
Everything recorded with the BOSS BR-600.
