I've a feeling that this is going to go down like the proverbial lead balloon but I'll give it a bash anyway.  I recently bought a Korg Kasoilator (mini synth) and this is the first full track that I put together with it so it's a bit basic.  I went for a kind of trip hop feel.  If you're a guitar purist then this isn't going to be pretty.

Thanks for listening

Mike

this is pretty kewl kaos stuff

there's several of us who have kaosses, so welcome to the kaos klub.

they're certainly a fun thing to play around with.

Groovy K jam Mike.

Very smooth and mellow - I keep threatening to get one of those things!

Sounds good to me, but I'm a big Kaossilator fan. I like the piano-y riff - you got a nice sharp sound there, it's easy to get slightly off timing because you are just moving your finger around the x-y pad rather than hitting specific notes. This worked really well, it's recorded nicely and has potential.

Did you do it all on the Kaossilator or record it as separate tracks on the MBR? The Kaossilator is great but it is a bit limited. I like recording several separate Kaossilator tracks on the MBR and then mixing them together - this gives you more chance to get away from the limitations of the looper on the Kaossilator. I did this on "Chill with Debussy" - check it out here:

I liked this a lot. Keep doing more, we like Kaossilators here (do check out mr2cool's Total Chaos Orchestra) and even some of our hardened guitarists have bought them and have been using them very effectively!

Cheers,

Nigel

i apologize for making this sound like an "order"

in fact you might want to heavily sedate yourself before you listen to any of my stuff.  ;D

BTW - love you signature.
