One other thing to consider is the track mixing.  If you record a lot of parts like bass, a couple of guitars, lead vocals, backing vocals and keys you will like being able to play all the tracks simultaneously without bouncing things together.

8 track mixer on the BR600 lets you do this.  I think the MBR requires you to do more bouncing.
