this was originally posted by hardlock, he asked i do a vocal/lyric for it. so last night i did one in french, not quite what hardlock was expecting, but i had been drinking.

so ive done another version this time in english like the french version the words are a bit abstract so here they are for you to decypher, i think the french version made more sense tho i dont talk french.

DID I TELL YOU.

I didn't quite
Realise
Exactly
what you meant

That phrase
You said
Went straight
over my head

maybe i'll catch it
the next time
if I jump
high......
enough...
if I jump
high......

did I tell you
baby
did I tell you love
did I tell you
just what's
on my mind

did I tell you
did I tell you
did the thoughts in my head
pass my lips

or did I just
imagine
that I said
what I thought

did I tell you
did I tell you
the thoughts inside my head
I don't know
If I did or not
I don't know
what I said

I only hope you know
What I meant
My intentions
My desires

I hope I haven't crossed the line
I hope our lines aren't crossed

I hope you understand me
You know
I only want to talk
I didn't quite
Realise
Exactly
what you meant

Wow, very groooooovy. Lovely combination of laid back music and vox. ORH, some very nice phrasing here and some neat lyrics. Nice production on the music as well, great smooth sound with very nice balance of instruments.

Cheers,

Nigel
