hardlock posted the tune here  https://songcrafters.org/community/index.php?topic=5644.0

and asked if i could try something with it. i got a french vibe from it, plus i'd been listening to jaques brel all day (i know he is belgian  but he sings in french) so i tried to write and sing in french, i dont speak french well just a little that i can remember from school, i am not sure if it makes any sense grammatically or whether my pronunciation is correct, i have a rough idea what i think it means and is in the spirit of hardlocks suggestions, apologies in advance to any french speakers here if i have desecrated your language in any way.
