Excessive amount of data in track

Any work-arounds? I have stuff from 2:48:00-00.0 onward about 30 minutes or so. Bounced to 7/8 stereo. Using the BRWC I've gotten up to the 2:49:00 mark okay, but now it's telling me excessive amount of data in track (hence the thread title.)

Tried deleting the first 2 and half hours of the track but it didn't take. Will try it again right now.
Thanks if anyone has any ideas.

Never mind. I A-B'd the section (about 40 minutes) and moved it to 7/8V2 starting at 0:00:00 then BRWC that track instead. Worked.

The BR Wave Converter manual says:

< "Excessive amount of data in track." >
The recording time for the data on the specified track is too long. Use the BR Series device's Track
Edit function to shorten the recording time. This software is capable of outputting monaural data of
up to approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes (approximately 3 hours and 22 minutes in stereo).

Not sure why it barfed at 2:49 rather than 3:22.

Actually the time started at 2:48 and went to 3:20:43 -- Which is pretty close to the cut off point.
I'm not hearing a definite increase in quality going from long play recording to the highest setting. I'll either choose a less resource intensive setting or stop recording the entire practice and hit record and stop more often.
Thanks much, 64Gs
