When I record using guitar in (using effects also) and tracks 1 &  2 simultaneously as a rhythm track and guitar track, then convert the song to mp3, I cannot get the track, just dead air or parts where I have played guitar only. Anyone able to help please?

It sounds to me like you probably haven't created a 2-track mix of your song. There are two ways to do this on the Micro BR (I assume that's the BR model you're using).

  • When you master, all four playback channels are mixed together to a pair of tracks according to the pan settings for each of the source tracks. At the end of the mastering procedure, you'll be asked if you want to export the mix as MP3 or WAV. This will export the 2-track master. See pages 76 and 77 of the Micro BR manual.
  • If you don't want to master your song, you can use bounce mode to create a 2-track mix. See pages 50 and 51 of the Micro BR manual. Then you can export the 2-track mix using the procedure on pages 112 and 113.

In both cases, you need to specify the destination as a pair of empty tracks. For example, 12v8 or 34v8.
