Wounded (Original)

This is my first song post of 2010. I wish it was a little cheerier.
I've been home watching too many news reports and so I sat down yesterday and recorded this.

It's called "Wounded".

Recorded on a BR600 using the internal mics.
I used my "Applause" acoustic for all guitar tracks, and I mastered it with P13 (Acoustic).

I agree ,it's one of the best to date Van , how many guitar tracks did you use , any chance of letting us know what size strings you use on your applause ,its got an amazingly wicked tone ,they sound like mediums , but they seem to bend like light gauge , you play and sing like a pro my friend if i were you i'd copywrite this , it is that good , my sixteen year old passed and said , wow who's that dad , you got a new Cd , who is it. the production is spot on as well , plays like studio mix

It's very accomplished. Super songwriting, playing and singing.

I feel that the vox is too far back in the sound stage, it sounds like you're standing behind the guitar players. A touch more top and up a bit in mix maybe.
