Fantastic guitar sound & great playing too.
Love the space in this song, it'd be way too easy to clutter it ... but you didn't.

Haven't heard the original in ages, but don't feel the need to now. This one satisfies my cravings.

YES It's all mbr effects (except I used a  digitech whammy to fake the bass) and NO .. no humbuckers, just singlecoils from a DIRTCHEAP (~60$) guitar.

I'll rerecord it sometime with one of my good guitars and a real bass.

This proves that its 99% skill, not equipment that makes an excellent recording.  Sometimes I feel the need to go buy a better guitar, and other goodies, but now I know I don't need to . . . practice is it and maybe some lessons too.
