Damn!

This was so deep, I had to put on a miner's lamp halfway through it!

Just kidding boys. Excellent collab here. The music, and lyrics were both top-shelf and complimented each other nicely.

Cool stuff!
It ain't pretty being easy.

Okay to Cover

This is great to hear. Excellent pairing of spoken poetry and music. I've never read much poetry, let alone listened to it (except Hawkwind and Robert Calvert), so this was a bit of an education for me. And I really enjoyed it, the combination is great. Kevin's voice comes over really well (although do watch the reverb a bit - don't let it overpower the vox) and I really liked the poem. Tharek, your playing is clever here because it creates a backing soundscape without overpowering the words.

Great job guys, looking forward to more of this genre.

Kevin, I hope Jude liked the poem!

Cheers,

Nigel

Thanks For the Feedback Guys!!!!!!  :)

I felt that the Guitar needed to take a back burner on this track....

The track is more about Kev's words to his Sweetheart than Tasty Guitar or song....

It was (to my supprise...) quite hard to do......

Couldn't structure it......  Needed to play Random stuff to Kev's Words to try and Catch the mood...  Dunno If I got it... But I will try and Improve for next time....

I had to listen to Kev's words whilst thinking what Notes would fit the mood of his verses.....

A new thing for me....

And Had to Squeeze recording this into 90 mins between pubs....

I like new Challenges though...  :)

I think you did, The playing needs to be a little "random" but not all over the place. If it is too structured it will get in the way of the flow of the words - they don't follow a song "structure". But it mustn't be just random notes otherwise that will be too distracting. I think you got it just about right and I'm looking forward to more.

Nice stuff, Tharek and Kev.  Between this and Ted's sampling bump, the year has ended/begun with quite a bit of imagination.  Thanks.
