I've been away for a bit and also totally lacking in inspiration or ideas. My guitar guru set me an exercise - alternating between lydian and dorian modes based on two chords. I messed about for hours and eventually came up with this which sounds a bit jazzy. See what you think. [soundclick]8539670[/soundclick]

A really delicious arrangement you have going on here. One extra minute and some drum pattern changes would be icing on the cake with this.

Lovely stuff. For a practice noodle, it's absolutely fab! Great sounds and fab feel to this. As Tharek said, it puts you in a good place. This would be worthy of a fuller arrangement - to take a simple chord sequence and make an interesting jam over it is quite a talent. I wanted this to go on longer....
