I wrote and we recorded this song 5 years ago following the Indonesian Tsunami.  It was part of a fund raising relief effort organized on the Music Players Forum called  'The Faces Of Friendship'. This may be my only songwriting experience where the song seemed to 'write itself'.  It began with a line spoken by an evening news announcer who said : And now we go to 'the saddest place in the world tonight...'

This 7-way collaboration evolved after I posted a demo on the Music Players Forum.
Revisited and re-mastered on the Micro-BR this morning.

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.

Great job with this Hoop! Glad you could share it with us - IMHO, a great time to do it considering all the Wii's, DS2's, mini helicopters, etc. that are floating about in our end of the world. In the words of my best friends wife -  "I think we overdid it this year"...

Peace on earth, and happy new year!!

This is a great song well produced. It deserves to get some air play IMO.
Loved the BG Vox particularly on the chorus. Nice chords. Sort of Beatle-ish.

Glenn, you took the words right out of my mouth. Loved the Beatlesy backing vox - and the great arrangement and clean recording - every part in its place.

Excellent song, hooper and friends!
