Anyone interested in laying down a bass line here for me? Lyrics if you are so inspired. I came up with a first verse:

I'm not afraid of dying
I'm not afraid of Life.
I'm not afraid of lying.
I'll lie right to your eyes.

But I don't sing so I don't often write lyrics.

I might re-master this as the drum bass is a bit heavy.

The piece is untitled as of now.

Sounds good. I'll see what I can add without being too overpowering.
Thanks for the invite.

I thought I'd try the lyrics you set.  I did the first 2 bars only.
I really like your song....hope I haven't ruined it.

Kate, I love it! I know it's not much, but, please, feel at liberty to add more lyrics if you'd like, music, give me feed back, suggestions, whatever. I'm very open minded. I haven't collaborated on much of my music so this is exciting to me. Besides, I have always wanted to collaborate with a female singer, and I like your voice so far.... I do think you need to turn the vox up a touch though. Eitherway, I really like the direction your going with it.

You certainly haven't ruined it. Actually I'd like to hear more.

More please....

Hi Eric

Yea! I'm glad you like it.  I alway get scared about turning the voice up.  I feel better with reverb and all that stuff on it. I will though.

Let's try to write a little bit more together.  I have about 30 starts of songs but lyrics are the difficulty for me so it don't come easy.

Perhaps we can look at the whole song together and see where the words need to be.....maybe do it step by step.  I would assume another verse like the first one is needed?  Repeated 2x like I just did or remove the repetition and put in another verse?

I'd love to work on this piece some more with you. I'm not the best lyricist either, I don't sing so I don't write lyrics much. I'll see what I can come up with. It might not be until next week that I can get to it as I have company in town.

I do think it needs another verse after the first, actually, it could use quite a few more lyrics and therefore the songs needs to be restructured with the lyrics in mind. I don't like too much repetition when it comes to lyrics, just enough to make it catchy but not commercial sounding.

I'll get work as soon as I can.

BTW I would like to here some of your other pieces, even if they are just samples. What instrument do you play?

Have you heard my other piece I posted on here?

Is "Duck" doing the bass for this? I can put some on if not. Kate, your vox sound great on here, turn 'em up!! Could probably help out with some lyrics too, or wait till ORH gets back and he will write a albums worth for ya in about half an hour  :o

Steve, I'd love you to add a bass line, however, I might rework the drums a bit. I think the drums are a bit heavy.

I'll get back to you. If you want to add something to this version feel free, In-the-end I might leave it the way it is. Either way we'll have a bass line written for the piece.

thanks man!

I'll wait till you know what you are doing with the drums then, as it may well change what the bass needs to be doing. Got the kids tonight as the other half is ill, and working next two days, will have time after if you are set.
