BR900 unsupprted format

I'm trying to import some tracks to my BR900, and I'm getting an "unsupported format" error. These appear to be normal 44.1kHz wav files. I have several from different people. The first imported fine (I've done it many time before). The next two gave me the error. Any ideas why that might happen? I had it happen once befor, but the file was the wrong sample frequency. These seem fine.

I figured it out with some help from a friend... They were 24 bit files. Converted them to 16 bit and they worked. Whew!
