Back in August, I was really intrigued with the "Shine On" challenge that Saijinn Maas issued. I put that backer away for safe keeping so one day I could actually play it well.

I picked up a Gibson SG last night, and was really wanting to see what I could do with it, as far as tone, settings etc. I did 2 different takes on that backer with different guitar settings and patches. I'm fairly pleased with the guitar.

It's probably bad form, but If you are interested in how it sounded in August.... here you go

I do remember the 1st take very well, and still really like it - the minimalist, open spaces are still sounding good to me today.

That said, this is fantastic, your have certainly done some serious woodshed time - what a pay off.
