Stunning song in every resepct, but it is the harmonies that really do stand out for me, they just sound so professional.

Sh*t, dude - Those harmony parts are off the coolness chart! I know it was said before, but I had to say it again!

Your production is very good as always Tim.

While you've set the quality barrier high, the expectations also become higher. IMHO it's still missing something, more melody, more "contra-harmony".

Again and again I'm happily surprised by what you do with the MBR drum arrangements. You're the pro on that.

Really like this one really has a great tune, just excelllent songwriting as always.

Just one listen so far , and not many songs i hear for the first time make me shiver a little , and this one did , what a lovely song , comepletely faultless , how i would love to come anywhere near close to writing a song this good , i'd go as far as to say it's your best vocal yet ( including harms )
those dreamy guitars remind me so much of the Pink Floyd song Fearless , well done mate

Commenting late here because this got lost for me in the holiday period. Tim, I think this is one of your best because the combination of guitars, vox (especially the harmonies) and the simple arrangement allow the emotion of the song to shine through in a very powerful way. This is a quite a delicate song that builds in intensity all the way through and gets the tingles running up and down the spine. Like a lot of your work, the words really resonate with me (I definitely grew up in less complicated times) and they work really well. It's a great arrangement with nice bass work. I really think you are a modern cross between Elvis Costello and Billy Bragg (but with more sensitivity in your writing than either of them) and I'm loving this one.

Cheers,

Nigel
