I was just listening to the live Larry Carlton version of this tune (and Miles gets played regularly in this household as well).

Nice job.  The first (sleepier) half reminded me of something I might hear in a David Lynch film.

Would love to hear it with some of the BR's jazz drums.

Thanks guys, I appreciate the feedback.

As for the patterns, I used the 6/8 Metronome to keep time, but now I can't find any patterns in 6/8 and there doesn't seem to be a way to change the tempo of any of the presets.

Can I make a pattern in 6/8?

Unfortunately you can't create/edit patterns. All patterns are 4/4 with the exception of maybe one or two that can be used in 3/4, I don't remember which, though.

Gerry- Try 170 BLUS1.  It will work for 6/8
