I like this tune, very nice :)

Farmjazz

QuoteWhile I think that some of the guitars made in the sixties were great (I love my 1962 Gibson EB0 bass), the year 1964 doesn't hold any special significance for me.

Yeah, I had a '68 Telecaster once. I wish I hadn't have sold it. Actually, I wish I hadn't sold many of the guitars I've had. Some notable mentions:

'73 Gibson SG - walnut, with Bigsby tailpiece

Mid 60's Gretsch Electromatic - black, also Bigsby tailpiece

   Custom fretless bass - J body, P after-market Carvin neck, (bird's
eye maple w/ Fender custom shop finish on the fingerboard),
DiMarzio P/J pickups, and a Badass bridge.

What was I thinking? Rent probably.

Every time I start playing it there is another version ... lol! Great one guys. Nice tune to start with, and ORH did his usual brilliant job of coming up with a lyric and melody. I just cannot do that for other ppl's stuff ... and I have tried! How long till the next update  ;)

I think this one is done. Although I've been thinking of going back and re-mixing it. I had so many ideas pop up while I was recording this one, and I put them all in there just because I could. Sometimes you can go too far, and I lost that clean, funky groove by over doing it.

I'm working on a bunch of other stuff right now - the band is getting busy - so I may not get to it.

Thanks, SteveG!

Cool fast driving speeding-ticket song!  Gotta be sure not to side-swipe anyone while flying by.

Very cool ear candy - and I too like the double vocals with falsetto - sounds cool!

Wow, thanks for bumping this, very different. I like all the layers, it's busy but I don't think it's overdone. just creates an "urgent" atmosphere. More different ORH vox as well. Nice song, great ending as well.

Cheers,

Nigel

Fabulous track, The instrumentals are superb. And yes it does sound like Devo on speed, I was trying to pin it down, thanks guitaron!
