Getting OVER reading on GTR effects

When I use the built in GTR effects, I constantly get a OVER reading.  I've tried turning down the input sensitivity, but I still get the OVER reading.  Any suggestions?  The sound does not sound like the input is getting distorted.  I've tried adjusting the effect volume, but with no avail.

Howdy. One thing you have to consider is also tweaking the input sensitivity level; not the input dial on the side of the MBR. I'm not sure if that's what you were referring to but after selecting the input, use the cursor to make sure it's on "Sensitivity" and adjust as necessary. From this screen, you can also adjust "Reverb."

You mentioned that the sound itself doesnt sound distorted during playback. When I record/use my MBR, I get the OVER message too but only during extreme peaks. This is acceptable so maybe it's just that. This especially happens with overdriven/distorted guitar and with drums. As long as the final product sounds good, I wouldnt worry about it. Good Luck!
