I just started using my PODX3 with the BR. I have set it up so I can record in stero, but it clips out all over the place and I have to set the sens so low that its not recording well. Also, I am not hearing a drum track as I record. Any suggestions about what do do? Thanks.

I had a similar issue with the stereo mic I built from the plans on this site. Using the sensitivity setting from the input menu helped some but I ended up using the input level dial on right side of the BR. I dialed it back to about 45.

What outputs are you using from the pod?
try using a line out or even a headph out, as to not hit the input on the MBR too hard
BTW-How ya liking that X3?-considered on one myself if i ever get to playing out again

I am a big fan of the PODX3. The dual tones are amazing and you can really do a lot of stuff with it as a whole. I am looking forward to buying a mic and using that with the PODX3 prests. I will try the suggestions above later in the week.

Anyone have any suggestions on how I can hear the BR drum track and use the PODX3.

Cheers

You could either use headphones or run The MBR to a mixer/amp/monitor setup
