people often ask me to interpret what my songs are about

during my trawl of my archive i came across this one, it was inspired by emails from listeners to my songs on besonic (anyone remember that) from as far afield as japan and new zealand asking me "whit in the name oh the wee man are your songs aboot" with a japanese accent.

Can't make out the words so still don't know what your songs are about. Didn't even know they were in a Japanese accent.... But I love the lush keyboards and the nice 80s feel, reminded me of the Associates for some reason.

billy mackenzie is my favourite singer of all time, when i did this one i was heavily influenced by the beta band. i'm not singing in a japanese accent i was referring to my japanese fans lol.
i used my old casio sk5 sampler for that one, plugged my guitar into it to sample some chords and sustained notes then played that back on the keyboard.
