Spacey dark synth track

Hello,

I have posted a few of my songs in the BR-600 section and thought I would share some backing tracks with the group.  This is a 10 minute or so synth track.  Very dark kinda feel but lots of room for guitar/bass/drums/vocals or whatever.  The file is a tad under 20mb.  Feel free to chop the song down if you would like.  You can download the song at:

Strange Stevie, I just tried the link and it worked for me.  Once it connects you have to click on download and then I think it makes you wait for like 20 seconds before the file downloads.

I added a few tracks to your drone idea. I record using Reaper http://www.reaper.fm/, my M-Audio Axiom 25 MIDI controller http://www.m-audio.com/products/en_us/Axiom25.html, using a few soft-synths, and Drumcore http://www.drumcore.com/.

Hey, Tony sorry for the late reply but I just now saw that you posted the collaboration.  Man, sounded good.  Lots of textures and motion in this piece, it really takes off around 1:30 or so and what effect was that caused the tempo on your synth to speed up and down.  Sorta sounded like a delay but different.  It all blended together really well. Good work!

I used a soft-synth 'Tapeotronic', and I re-assigned one of the controller knob on the Axiom 25 to tempo.
