help please

Tonight I have been working on a song. but have been having trouble and wondering if I am doing something wrong. Here is my process.

I laid down an accoustic rthym part on tracks 1 and 2 for stereo effect. This included the first verse and chorus;

Next, I laid down a vox part on tracks 3 and 4.
I bounced them together.

NExt, I laid down a solo on with the recorded rhym track i already made for the first verse and chorus. I think I bounced them together...

I want to add two more verses and chorses.

Can I cut and paste them all together and i will it sound ok? I dont know if am explaining myself right. Help please

If i read your post right, you have your guitar recorded on tracks 1 and 2, and your vocals were bounced down to just track 3. track 4 should be free for recording anything else like guitar solos or backup vocals, etc...

if you have a verse - chorus section recorded, you can either record additional parts after it (on the same track) by punching in at the end of the recorded part. or, you can copy the existing track and paste it in at the end of whats already there. I sure hope that made sense.

personally, i would punch in and play out the rest of the song just because i dont trust my ability to copy and paste without having a funky little glitch inbetween parts.

again, record the rest of the song on the existing track. not a new track.
