I have recorded a little experiment trying 2 contrasting leads over the same backer
also I have been experimenting to try and get a tone as near to TJ's swampy (obviously the playing isn't as good) ;)
And apologies to Mr J Beck for attempting one of his excellent cover songs............. ;)

I don't think an apology is necessary. This is fantastic. The tone is brilliant. The playing is sublime, and the feel is extraordinary. Several listens into this, and it really has opened up your style quite a bit. A very welcome addition to your bag of skills.

Nice job Mike, great tones and great playing. Do tell us more about the back story here - what did you give the 48 All Stars a ragging for?

Great stuff. Intertwined guitars sound great when they're played to this level of skill. Have you been breaking your own rules or something? lol. Beautifully crafted work.

Thanks Guys.....As I said I was experimenting with smooth lead trying to get TJ's almost trumpet like sound cos I love it and can't afford a PRS (yet LOL).......I tried all my guitars and then just tried the p90s last...the first guitar was on the neck pup and still sounds muddy but I was really happy with the Bridge pup sound (its not as sweet as TJ's sound but it is definitely in the ball park) so I just left both tracks on and posted it.......

OK now to the background SteveM, PJ and TonyW
all Independently decided that they would send in Mp3s of lessons with duelling guitars which mask lots of timing and phrasing issues so I gave then gentle "bollockings" :D
In my defence I did say it was Ok to post finished work on here as a duel but not in lessons.......

So PJ and Tony....Eat my Shorts!  ;D ;D
