'Breathe' Greeny (Mandolin) Original

Not a Pink Floyd cover! This is my first mandolin composition, and incorporates two layers of mandolin plus bass (and vocals). All recorded on the BR.

It's not very complicated as I don't know many chords yet, and my fingers find that silly little fretboard hard to navigate.

It was fun to ditch the guitar for a change

Brilliant Tim, Alive and fresh. It's a great sound. It's typically you and different all at once. It has so much space in the middle for your vocals and you carry it off fabulously.

Would love to hear some sparse acoustic flatpicking in between the vocal lines.

This is so damn good, Greeny. Is this your contribution to the pirate challenge? I certainly hope so with the nautical flavours going on in the lyrics... I too have a reference to the spanish main in my own yet-to-be-posted effort. Your voice sounds very familiar the more i listen to it....

You make everything sound so easy !! This is a great song, love the feel of it and the great sound you get in the mando ! I don't think I'd add anything imho.

Your voice is always great and you have that rare talent that you can adjust your singing from song to song, so that every song have it's own character without loosing the real Tim Green voice. I'm a big fan !!!
