Yulefest: I don't really have too many favorite Christmas songs, not sure if I even like the whole thing at all, but you know me, I can't resist these festivals.  Here is my take on that classic song, "The Grinch Song", all played by me into the MicroBR.  Drums are an experiment, drum loops in .WAV form in my BR-1200 (Discrete Drums), I like the sound of the drums.  Enjoy this Christmas classic.

Dave!! This was really cool! "How the Grinch Stole Christmas" is one of my all time favorite holiday animated shows.

You made it all happen with your cool version - Awesome!

Now some math:

The Heart O Meter indicated that the Grinch's heart was two sizes too small.

Then after feeling the spirit of Christmas it grew three sizes!

Which is a net increase of one full heart size.

I think I don't really understand it about the Mr Grinch thing. Am I now a culture-cannibal ?

I like the backing, the singing is special. In general it's a well written song which has technically spoken almost everything in it. Good arrangement. I should say : compliments !

Thanks guys, this was one of those pure inspiration moments.  I got the idea Thursday night to do something with this song, started working on it Friday and by Sat night had it in the bag.  That happens to me sometimes, usually red ale fueled  ;), lots of fun for sure.   It is hard to realize that lots of folks haven't heard this song before, it is a staple of Christmas in North America, but the rest of the world doesn't have this one I guess.  It is from a classic children's cartoon made from a story by Dr.Seuss.  We all watch this every year at this time.  There are a few different versions of this song out there on U-tube, here is the original version.  For my version I wanted to rock it up a bit.  Here is the original:
