I thought I'd break out the 'ole Epiphone and give the Strat a break for awhile.
I also finally picked up a cheap bass (I just gotta learn how to play it now  ;D).

Hope y'all like it. It's called "One Eye".

Guitar and mic plugged directly into the BR600:

Rhy Guitar trks 1 & 3 = Epiphone Les Paul (Patch P06)
Lead Guitar trk 2 = Epi LP (Patch P25)
Bass = Washburn Taurus (Patch P90)
Vocals = Shure SM58 (mic Patch P01)

Mastered with BR600 mtk P013 "Acoustic"

Very very good Vann.  Really top notch songwriting here, Southern tinged blues rock, that is a holy grail style for me, I could listen to this one all night.  Your guitar sounds really good, your vocals are perfect.  What else is there to say, this is perfect really.  Great original song here, performed and recorded with care and respect.  Thats a beauty guitar solo there my friend.  I LOVE THIS ONE VANN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Great rockin original Vann !!!  Your voice reminds a bit of Ted Nuggent !!!  Great vibe on this rocker - maybe a little Alice in Chains influence?  Enjoyed listening - nice solo - break out the Epi more often !!!

Awwww yeah!! This is great! Everything just sounds so good. Tons of headroom and the drums sound perfect. Very real. You are a master of the 600, bro.

The vox and the lead playing really kicked a$$ on this one.

Holy crap, that opening chord is just crushing. Just fantastic playing. Sounds like gritty rock from Austin.  Actually, it reminds me of really heavy Storyville, and your playing sounds like jacked up David Grissom (one of my favorite players).

A great listen.

Oh dear, sounds like a devoted drink driver to me :o

Only kidding. This is a great rock song.
Love the fact that it's all on the BR600 too. Another devotee ... bring 'em on.

What's the Washburn Taurus like? I really need another cheap bass. My dear old Westone Concorde I has definitely seen better days. It's around 30 years old and only worth about £2.50.

Acoustic Mastering effect eh. You make it sound real nice. I always end up using Mix Down, although I often tweak the settings a bit.

Gotta say that the Epi LP sounds sweet.

Dang, Vann!  Great song.  Downloading this to the iPod for sure.  Good song to listen to when I want to get my cool on. Like walking in slow motion with sunglasses on. You really have way with words. The different turns on the "one eye" theme is really smart. But you know, the good times really can last forever... ;)

Congrats on another great song.
