Nice track. The BR 600 seems to handle bass guitars better than the microBR. I can hear the tone much better.

might have to have a look into this......
I'm with the Joy Div / Depeche Mode school of thought here too.
We are here on Earth to fart around. Don't let anybody tell you any different

Rickocaster

Really well done. It's obvious you really put some time into it. The heavy rhythm and the panning really works well with the vocal style and lyrics. Very artistic!

That'd be about right. One of my all time favourite bands. Thanks for the favourable comparison
Quote from: fenderbender on November 29, 2009, 12:09:36 PMvery depeche mode-ish
This was also my hope. Thanks for recognising it.
Quote from: andrewh on November 29, 2009, 04:16:29 PMi too am getting Joy Division and Depeche Mode influences here
Yet another spot on comparison. I must be doing something right!
Quote from: BarrettR on November 29, 2009, 04:23:14 PMthis is just the kind of music I like to have playing while I work.
Cheers. Glad I can help make the load lighter.

I haven't tried a Micro-BR for bass yet. I use a one of a couple of custom patches on the BR-600, with an old knackered Westone Concorde I bass. Once again cheers for the Joy D & Depeche M quote.

Cheers. I spent a bit of time arranging the stereo image, then bounced the final mix to 7/8 whilst panning the guitar synth solo with the thumb wheel.

This is freakin' awesome!..I can't help but love this...the vocals are so cool, it's got me smilin'!  8)

Greeny

This was a nice find. There's an early 80's vibe running through the heart of this. Totally agree with the Depeche Mode / Joy Division comparisons. It's 'out there' in some ways, but there's a damn tight groove holding it all together. I have to say I love it!

Thanks Greeny. I'll definitely settle for being retro and to be compared with such greatness ... It's humbling :-[

Thanks again for your comments.
I really do appreciate them.

Had to come back to this one .... for some reason it stuck in my mind  ;)

So much going on here, those drums for the start ... is that preset patterns ? Anyway they work damn well with the song and gives a good drive to the song together with the bass.

Excellent arrangement/production of a good song, and performance is top notch ! Love that solo and even tho I usually prefer a less fx'ed vox it worked great on this song, tho your voice dont really need it :)

Great work !!

Nope ... All my own work. Created in step time, using a custom kit created by combining the House kit with the TR808 kit. Glad you like it, thanks

chapperz66 Thanks, glad you like it too.
