Tried tuning my good old ST-300 in open C ...

It's just a sketch for now, just had one hour free last night .... the guitar and vox are first take and it lack some structure .. vox recorded outdoors in the cold wind by the river .... fingers still aching from mixing/mastering on the way home ...

... but I haven't posted anything new in a while so I thought I'd share ...

Oh well ........

This is a sketch?! Lol. I loved it from the opening chord! It has a very trippy sitar feel. The tone of the guitar is awesome, as is the playing. I can't see what else you can do with this apart from give the drums a bit of variety / fill here and there.

An incredibly atmospheric song. It transported my mind.

Glad you're composing again - it's been too long!

Its the start of a monster Geir, very cool stuff, love that guitar playing.

Great playing here Geir, and really good to hear another song from you, your music has been missed recently on here.

Love this song as it is, but has potential to be even better!!

A wise man once told me that you can't record atmosphere. Sounds like you proved him wrong, Geir. Personally, I wouldn't really do anything to this little cracker. I wanna be with you, next to that river.....

Dripping with Nordic mystique!
A cold wind by the river with the Northern lights dancing in the sky.

I wonder what it would sound like sped up to raise the pitch of the vocals...

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.
