Can I lower the MP3 playback volume when jamming with MP3 files (e.g. Micro Trax)? I can change the guitar level but even with the input fader full on 100% it's still too quiet. I can adjust the guitar level up more by editing the patch (pre amp volume etc) but that's a hassle as I have to re do it if I change effect patches.

I am probably just being stupid, but I cannot find a simple way of reducing the MP3 playback level alone.

I'm assuming that your problem is that when you lower the output level then you lower the guitar volume as well.

You could import the mp3 into a song track and then you can adjust the track level before it gets to the output level.  I don't have the manual to hand but it isn't difficult to find the section on importing mp3s into songs.
