I have been working on some guitar stuff using backing tracks that I got from the internet. How would I go about uploading my backing tracks to a 900cd so that I could record my leads over them? Is it possible?

Convert the backing track to a 44.1kHz WAV file, then import it to a pair of tracks on the BR-900 by following the procedure on pages 167 and 168 of the BR-900 Owner's Manual - "Loading WAV/AIFF Files in BR-900CD Tracks (WAV/AIFF Import)".

RTY - Good luck with yer machine when it arrives. If I were you I'd start as I mean to go on. If your machine has a manual with it, it contains a Track Sheet at the rear which can be photocopied and then printed as needed (There's probably one on this Forum as well if needs be). The Track Sheets are indispensible if you mean to record in a professional manner, remember, you'll have 64 tracks to play with, remembering just where what is can be a pian in the a*se after a few hours, so get used to using the sheets. Also, sort out your CF cards. Obtain several spare ones when you can, esp of the 512mb & 1GB variety. Good luck.

Download the BR-900 Owner's Manual here:

There's a Track Sheet in the back.

You can also download the BR Rhythm Editor and BR Wave Converter and install them on your computer.
