Thanks for the comment CM. I don't listen to classic country, I prefer R&B and Funk but I certainly paid my dues for 25 odd years in the Legion "circuit". I guess it left a stain that won't rub off easily.

Very same to me here, I always have a kind of Mark Knopfler sound and in the meanwhile I havent covered him anymore in the past 10 years.... (also due to the fact that I can only play with my fingers instead of a pick)

I guess thats something I must live with.

Ahh! Finger picking, so that's how some of those interesting licks of yours get done. I did quite a bit of it too and must go back and give it another try.

Maybe its an idea we collab a track together Glenn ? kinda country thing, not compare ourselves to knopfler and atkins but such like that ?

Bluesberry

I really like this one Glenn, lots of style and cool grooves.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

A collab might be fun. Maybe trade licks on a backer you mean? I have to warn you tho, I've already talked with the Devil. Lol

Nice clean recording Glenn and great playing as usual.
Depending on what you were going for: It sounds like a performance in one of those experimental theaters where the audience is in the middle and the play is going on around you... rather than letting me imagine that I'm in the audience with the band on stage in front of me. This of course due to the panning.  You've got the parts well arranged and residing in their own space (in terms of EQ) so you could probably get away with bringing them closer together on the soundstage, if you wanted to.  Fine job!

These days I merely dabble at being old and wise.
But I swear, I used to absolutely excel at being young and stupid.
