editing?

So what works and what's user friendly for editing purposes?  I transfer my songs from my BR-900 into the computer, but I still need to tweek them a bit.  Looking for a user friendly editing program.  I've heard about Audacity, Sound Forge and Music Creator.  So how about it?  What would you recommend?

It depends on what you want to do. For simple editing and mixing, you can't beat the value of Audacity (it's free). Audacity is capable of more sophisticated editing too. But if that's what you're interested in, you might want to compare it with other programs to see which one suits you best (it might still be Audacity but you won't know until you've tried the others).

Most BR users just want to trim the ends of their song, or maybe do their final mixdown or some EQ. Audacity is great for all of that and much more. I suggest that you start with Audacity. If you find that it doesn't have all of the features you want, then you can start looking at other programs. But remember, with all the extra features comes a bigger learning curve. So you're probably better off starting with Audacity.
