LCK - Yep, this is a very decent stab at a 80s hit, so well done. I'm sure you must have sat around at parties and sung this, because there's a confidence in your singing and playing. Now,
I'm not too sure what the extent of your equipment is (apart from voice & acoustic), but if you're using a Micro-Br etc, you might want to think about 'copying' both the guitar and voice tracks to empty tracks, and then pan the 'two' voice tracks slightly to left & right (sort of ten-past-ten on a clock face), and then bring up the levels of all the tracks to give the overall song a little more body.
I'm listening to the song on laptop speakers, so that's not very helpful. But even I can hear the catchiness in the track. Very good.

Nice cover, its got a old-timey country feel to my ears, like that appalachian country-folk stuff.  I like this.  Very nice strumming and vocals.
