Bum Note

I have just recorded a piece which I am happy with....
however there is one bum note that is screaming at me
I am sure you've been there
it is too short to "punch"
Is there any other way of getting rid of it

The only thing I can think of is to export the track to Audacity or Audition
stretch the audio track and delete by adding silence......

If it was me I would do a punch in/out for a bar or two around that bum note and try real hard to get it the same, I have had good success with this before where after I can't hear the punch in at all, it sounds seamless.  There is no other way on the micro to get at just one bum note that I know of.

Alternate Tunings: CAUTION: your fingers have to be in different places

Maybe try this: Look at the bad note location.... say maybe it's in the 2nd bar of an 8-bar loop/verse or chorus.  Find another instance of the 2nd of 8 bars in your song and Track|Copy it to the location of the problem, so that the good measure you copy replaces the bad measure.  That way the guitar tone, volume, etc will match too- hard to do in a later session unless you took real good notes of all your settings. (lol)  You might have to copy more than 1 measure to get it to fit in context in the new location.
