What do you say we start an oBRiturary section?

Ted's Micro BR
Cause of death: Electrocution

LCB's Micro BR
Cause of death: Fall from a fourth floor window

oldrottenhead's Micro BR
Cause of death: Exhaustion

There are other stories of dead or terminally ill BRs in this forum, but it makes me too sad to seek them out.

Jim - You or your computer buddy should at least take it apart to see if it has a bent tab on the card reader. It's easy - I put together instructions.

Don't give up, bud! Maybe you'll find a hairball in there or something!  :D

I've come close to killing mine a few times - In one month it will be my first anniversary. I hope my MBR doesn't divorce me before then...

You know you should take it to the guitar shop where you can have telescopic sights fitted while you wait, won't fix the MBR, but you'll look real mean with a 4 x 42 on your telecaster....

Jim,  how did you buy it? If you used a card, won't there be a record of the transaction somewhere?  Could you get that and try and get them to live up to the warranty?

SE

So sorry to hear your MBR has packed up, just an excuse for a new or better model, Mrs orh will understand, just use the hang dog look it always works for me.

Wow you shattered the glass in side of your MBR with that awesome voice of yours James !!!  Sorry to hear that....very sad day when this happens.... :(

Hang in there...rest your voice for a few days, you'll come back even stronger and better than before....waaaahooo!!

Of course you can always opt to time-travel to a time when they sell the new and improved model ... --- ... --- ... --- ... --- ...and pick up one of those models...can't wait to hear the songs that come out of this LOSS !

cheers tommy i dont think i need to time travel i already believe that the micro br is an artefact from the future.

i'm gonna let my friend open it up and see if it can be repaired, if he is unsuccesful i will replace it with a new one.

unfortunately that means i wont be able to afford the roland juno d i have my eye on, however my mbr is essential the juno is not.

yeah the larger br's look good but what i love about the microbr is you can put it in your pocket and take it anywhere. man i even did some songs in crete and in spain when i was on holiday, i am totally lost without it saying that not having it working means i have a bit more time for my family, but dont worry guys if anyone wants words to a song i'll be using cubase sx2 for now.

hopefully my mbr is not dead but only sleeping it probably needs the rest.
