applying effects AFTER recording

Started by chopsbbq, November 18, 2009, 06:48:15 PM

Greetings

I was wondering if it's possible to first record a track 'clean', and then apply an effect for it afterwards?

This would make it much more easy to find an effect that fits the other tracks... Or think about those times you recorded that wonderful solo (that you can never replay again, you want to but its never the same) but found the effect was all wrong...

I've searched on google but couldn't find any relevant information...
Hope you can help me out!

Hey Mr. BBQ - Yes, it is possible!!

You record your take(s) dry first.
Then you bounce the dry tracks into new tracks using the LOC option in effects.
To change the EQ and Effects with the MBR you always have to bounce.

If you are still interested we can walk you through the process.

Peace!
