Ok, another easy one for you guys who are "tech smart". I'm "tech dumb" and having a rough time with this device BUT very determined.
How do I download songs from my ipod into my Boss Micro BR?
Kind regards,
Rudy

i imagine you would have to transfer the mp3 from your ipod to your pc then drag and drop the file into your mbr. i use a creative zen so i can simply connect both to pc and drag and drop from one to the other, am not sure if you can do that with an ipod or itunes tho.

Normally you can't copy songs from the ipod to a PC... the way the ipod works is that you have the library in itunes or whatever then transfer that to the Ipod.

So you need to sue something like sharepod to first copy the song to your pc (if it's not there) or find it, then manually copy it to the MicroBR.

I use JRivers Media Center instead of Itunes which is simply awesome!

Thanks for the replies guys,
In the mean time I fooled around a bit and connected my ipod to my Micro BR with a dual 1/8 male lead from the ipod to the line in on the BR. With the mp3 set I was able to download direct a few songs. That was  huge event for a technut like myself.
So now I will just download the songs I want to play with and go from there.

I'm still having alot of operational issues because of my limited ability here but the progress is steady.
Sort of like learning Freddie King's Hideaway. One measure at a time..over and over and over etc.
Thanks again and standby for more stupid questions :-)
Kind regards,
Rudy
