Some more Brit Pop for you. This was written and recorded in an hour (all on the BR of course) - just one of those happy, spontaneous things that rise out of the darkness sometimes. All played by me on the les paul goldtop and a bass.

I'm writing an album's worth every 2 weeks at the moment. It's keeping me (almost) sane. This is one of many new songs, but I kinda like this one a lot. It started with a catchy chorus and took off from there.

Note: the guitar solo is first take, so there's a misplaced note in there. I decided to leave it as is.

What a fabulous sound in that song. Very catchy indeed. I kept waiting for the misplaced note, but it never came.
Tell us when the album is released,I'll fly to GB for the cocktail party near abbey road !

Always like a bit of Britpop!

That chorus sure is catchy, and like the way the song bounces along, its has a real feelgood nature about it.

Yay!! Great to see Greeny back. This hit me like a splash of sunshine on a Monday morning. One of your absolute best solo efforts. Just wonderful chord progression, jangly guitars, vocal harmonies and lyrics. Great vox as well, love the mockney touches which really gives it a good Britpop feel. Bum note? Never noticed it because my feet were tapping so much!!

Production is fab as well, really well balanced and sounds so sharp. Now where's me saucepan helmet........?

Cheers,

Nigel
