Thanks for the smily face...  Just got back from jamming with a couple of folks!  It is amazing the people i meet...

I am at a training all week on working with Alaska Native Americans and two of the Elders - they are Inupiats - can realy do some great music!  John is an amaizing guitar player and his wife is quite the singer - and can play all kind of music --- mean blues player - it sound so totaly awesome on my 12.  Then he switch to a grand piano and i played the guitar while he cranked away on the piano --- he lived for a while in souther California in the 60's and got to do some music down there.  What a thrill to have one of the Inupiat Elders crank some great tunes --- not only got some good Wisdom, but also some great music...

Great noodling Diego. You have such class in your music.

As far as instruction goes.... I've tried lessons.

Between 48, youtube, keywords on this forum... and this forum in general I'm light years ahead of where I would have been sticking with lessons. That said... one day I might resume lessons but I've got a lot to refine between now and then.

Lately Tharek and I have done the webcam thing, I've learned more tricks just by watching what he does than you can shake a stick at!

Excellent idea!  i need to get with the program and get me a webcam - that would definetly be an awesome way to exchange music and learn from the folks in this forum --- as i matter of fact as soon as i get home on Friday i am going to order me one!!!  Tell you the truth this is how i have learned for the last 38 years - by doing music with others!!!

Take care!!!

Very nice, Diego! Good use of chorus. I can definitely hear the Atkins and Knopfler influence that was mentioned. Cool country-blues feel, and nicely played. A bit more than noodling to me. Good work.

There are only three kinds of drummers. Those who can count, and those who can't.
