Thanks for all the comments guys.

I hope you all sang along with the chorus, and if you did why not record it add it in to the mix?  at any musical get together here in Scotland this one is guaranteed to get the whole audience singing

It's nice to hear other people enjoying, the more traditional Scottish folk song, and this one is a Scottish classic, like i said I think its in the DNA or something.  :) :)

Would be nice to hear a traditional song or songs from your part of the world.

Thanks Again

Cheers

Thanks very much for the comments, I am really glad you enjoyed the song.

I'm never really sure whether these traditional type songs will travel well, I Love the old Scottish tunes, but then I was brought up listening to them, so they are memory jerkers for me, it's nice when others appreciate them too.

Background fiddle sounds like a great idea Tafka, any fiddlers out there?

And any chorus singers?? my memories of this song always involve the entire audience joining in the chorus

Thanks again

Cheers

Ronnie, PJ, & Eddie...this was so beautifully done! It's one of my favorite folk songs ever, and since I'm part Scottish I also felt the need to add a chorus contribution:
