Hey Dave!

Just got a chance to listen - Awesome!! Played it a couple times - Lots of great stuff going on. I liked the changes and the variety of synth sounds and guitar rhythm - I liked the piano solo, as well as the lead guitar work. And that Harmony G is just too cool!!

You are the master of the 5+ minute song, dude - Love it!!!

Peace,

Mark

Thanks everybody, yes P-dog this song was a lot of fun, probably the most fun of all my songs so far (maybe Coming Storm was a close second in the fun factor).  I wanted to try something different (always good to try something different) and I am glad it worked out ok.

This is another gem !!!

Have listened to this quite a few times now on my piePod before posting this and finally got time to give a proper response.

Much going on, but not too much. It's a carefully constructed whole that used a wide range of the BB palette. Prog and blues and a touch of pop blended in a delightful mix.  As we've gotten used to, it's a beautiful production with really cool blues licks added as spice. I love the basswork from 4:10 and out the song, melodic and complementing the guitar in a great way!

You've painted another beautiful picture with your music Dave !!!

DAVE!  Been a while since I've heard any of the wonderful offerings on the Holy Forum, and I chose your stuff to get back into it.  I'm glad I did!  To say you've come a long way would be a huge understatement!  Holy shit, man!  I LOVE the organ bits, but I love the synth parts even more.  Awesome delay/tremolo/slicer/whatever-it-is-it-sounds-cool-as-hell effect in those mellow bridge parts.  And the guitar solo toward the end is sublime and melodic as hell.  I wish the fade out was longer ...

FANTASTIC WORK! ;D ;D ;D

Oh, how I've missed the music of the Forum!

Everytime I hear a new track of yours I instantly think of David Byrne. It's uncanny.
