I would sing about walking along a country lane, your girl by your side, its starting to rain, you find an old abandoned cabin by the lake and go inside,  memories flood your brain, memories of all the people who lived in this cabin, which reminds you of all the great times you have had with your girl, it stops raining so you go outside and there is a rainbow overhead, and you carry on your way down the country lane, throwing stones as you go.
That is what flashed through my mind while listening to this.  Great song, very visual.

I think I would also add the effect of throwing stones in a pond - ripple effect --- like when memories totaly flood you in waves...  As this moment will be added to other such great feelings as this.

"it stops raining so you go outside and there is a rainbow overhead, and you carry on your way down the country lane, throwing stones (into the calm waters) as you go"  and the ripples reminds you of such precious past moments as this.......
