When recording a classical guitar using MIC, is it possible to record part 2 of a duet on track2 while listening to already recorded part1 on track1 so that they are in sync? If yes, how can it be done?

You absolutely can as this the primary function of a 4 track recorder. Basically, after recording on track 1, activate track 2. Set all your parameters for input, effects, etc... When you press record, track 1 will play and you can start whenever you like. Or, you can press play (track 1 will start) and just punch in (with record button) whenever you want to jump in.

I strongly suggest going over the manual. There is a bit of a learning curve, but even the quick start instructions will get you moving in no time. Essentially, pressing play will play any track already recorded (with the exception of the virtual tracks that are not selected.)

Lots of fun. if you run into any trouble, just come on back to the forum and ask away. I believe theres a video around here, or even on youtube that gives some helpful hints and tricks... good luck

oh, just realized you are probably using the built in mic to record the 2nd guitar too. in this case, you would have to plug headphones in so you can hear track 1 without the mic picking it up during playback. in doing so, you will also hear track 2 as you play it. it's all in sync for sure.
