Hello,

I was trying to convert my monthly recording of our acoustic jam session and get this error when trying to convert the linked tracks with BR Wave converter:

"Excessive amount of data in track" ...

The jam is about 4 hours long, I was able to export each track individually and *should* be able to link them again in Audacity.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen this error ...

Thanks,

Bob

From the BR Wave Converter Owner's Manual:

< "Excessive amount of data in track." >
The recording time for the data on the specified track is too long. Use the BR Series device's Track Edit function to shorten the recording time. This software is capable of outputting monaural data of up to approximately 6 hours and 45 minutes (approximately 3 hours and 22 minutes in stereo).

If you've recorded 4 hours in stereo, then you've exceeded the program's limit of 3 hrs, 22 min. You'll need to split the jam into two smaller parts and export each part separately. In the future, try to remember to stop recording at about 3 hours and start a new song.

Hello,

Thanks 64! I was able to export each track seperately, import into Audacity and then save as stereo / export to MP3.

Next month I'll try to just record the jam as MP3, try to save some steps.

Thanks,

Bob
